"Our 7 day cruise down the Nile was a dream come true and Sonesta Amirat made it an amazing experience. The staff was very attentive, the food was delicious with a lot of variety and the boat was well maintained. The boat manager Yasser made the cruise run smoothly. We loved the intimate experience of the smaller boat and would highly recommend."

"Excellent experience with amazing crew. From the beginning my wife and I felt like at home with the superb attention of the crew. We could relax and enjoy the sonesta amirat in a cozy atmosphere, the dahabeya is elegant and comfortable. All the meals were delicious and carefully prepared. We even had a romantic and special dinner in an island. I recommend this experience to eveybody not just because of the great experience of the nile cruise but because this dahabeya and its crew are the best ones. Yasser, the boat manager and captain, was the possible host, taking care of everything and make us feel like at home for our honeymoon."

"We had a wonderful welcome on the Good Ship DAHABIY AMIRAT. The team, led by Yasser the Boat Manager, gave us a delicious cold drink and showed us to our very comfortable and well equipped cabins.
The food was exceptional and quite the best we had so far on our Egyptian holiday.
Fascinating tours of the ancient wonders of Luxor, Edfu and further up the Nile were all professionally managed and highly informative.
If there could be one slight improvement then I would have to say the internet connection is a bit 'wobbly' on board but in many ways this means we concentrate more on the tranquil and beautiful cruise up the Nile and not on our devices!
In conclusion we would give our experience 5 Stars and this is all thanks to the amazing team led by Yasser."

The boat was perfect in every way: incredible service, comfortable cool cabins, and lovely upper deck with many charming places to sit and watch the river slip by. The food was excellent and plentiful. We particularly rated the way the service was tailored to each person and the relaxed, courteous staff. The island dinner and dancing was very special. "I'm traveling on Dahabiya Amirat. I highly recommend this trip. The boat is clean and smoothly run. The meals are excellent...a combination of Mediterranean food and Western menu. The crew can also prepare pretty much anything you request. The sightseeing is engaging. The rooms are nicely appointed and efficient for the necessarily small quarters. The boat is equipped with WiFi and CNN for English speakers. The boat manager Yassir and his crew are responsive, polite and accommodating. All in all, a very well-spent week."
